Merits:

     1. Numerous Radio Stations

        You can access a lot of stations through this. As per Wikipedia it contains around ‘One hundred thousand’ stations. Name any popular (International) Radio station it will be there in TuneIn.

     2. Categories

         Even if you don’t know the names of Radio Stations, need not to worry. Select a category which you are interested in and it has list of Podcasts with enclosed no. of followers’ count, so you can choose any popular one. Or you can try by reading description.

       3. Car Mode

            I didn’t use that ‘because I don’t have a Car...Still it is there in the app, so probably it may useful.

       4. Favorite List

            Looks like I don’t have to explain about it, still I will try. You can add the podcasts you liked to this List. If you randomly found an station and you loved it but the name is tricky and you are afraid that you may forget it, add that to the list.

       5. Download

          You can listen podcasts even if you are in offline once you downloaded them. I loved it. It is very helpful when you fully dependent on home wifi and don’t have any data pack, download them at home and enjoy jorney without buffering.

Demerit

                You can download only with ‘wifi’, you can’t download with data charges. Still you can listen online by Mobile data.
